When global catastrophe strikes, sometimes the job is too
big for a single hero. At these moments the world's greatest
super heroes answer the call of the Justice League. Justice
League works together as a team to overcome a dangerous array
of interstellar invaders and world conquering megalomaniacs
- it is the ultimate power against the forces of evil. An
all-star roster of DC comic book heroes including Superman,
Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, The Green Lantern, Hawkgirl
and the Martian Manhunter join forces to form the Justice
League...
For
those of you who marvelled at Warner's Batman animated
series then Justice League will be a real let down.
The animation is second rate and the storyline is very weak
with some appalling sexist views. Wonder Woman is just a girl
in the eyes of the other superheroes and in these enlightened
times this is not really the sort of attitudes we should be
allowing our children to accept as the norm.
While
the tape maybe a few years old now that is no excuse for releasing
it in such poor quality - the soundtrack hisses the whole
way through and the picture appears washed out.
Strangely
enough there is an additional cartoon at the end of this volume
- a Powerpuff Girls story. There is no indication on
the video sleeve that this is included, but it is a welcome
addition.
Not
an addition that you should really be making to your video
collection.
