The Department Q series follows Inspectors Carl Mørck and Assad, two investigators whose job is to re-investigate cold cases whenever new evidence turns up. In A Conspiracy of Faith, a mysterious message in a bottle reveals the truth about religious fanatics kidnapping children and the reasons why parents don’t report the incidents.

Nicklas Schmidt's score for the the third movie in the Department Q series, A Conspiracy of Faith, is probably the most suspenseful out of the three. While The Keeper of Lost Causes and The Absent One have their action themes, A Conspiracy of Faith really grabs you with its adrenaline pumping tracks.

The album contains 18 tracks (1 hr, 03 min, 36 sec) and has fewer beautiful moments than the previous scores. The album's one standout beautiful track is 'A Conspiracy of Faith'

Those that enjoy reflective, melancholic music will get more out of the previous albums, whereas those who want a little action and adventure will feel most at home here.
